The horse that ate EVERYTHING powered by Equine Health Analysis
A client approached us after their horse ate everything – not just food, stable doors, fences and more recently had begun to attack his stable walls so we carried out the Equine Health Analysis screening on his samples.
This was actually a case of the horse trying to self medicate. When we tested his samples it showed that he had a huge calcium deficiency and was trying to eat the calcium in the concrete. This particular horse also had trace proteins showing, which means that there is slight infection. Often if a horse does not wee frequently or empties its bladder out entirely, like a human it can develop a form of cystitis, and small crystals are formed and when they pass through the bladder they tear causing small infections to occur.
The solution: This horse was prescribed a supplement including Seaweed Extracts, Thepax, Pre and Pro Biotics, Limestone Flour, Brewers Yeast, Psyllium Husk, Apium Seed, Milkthistle and Homeopathic Byronia 12x.
